Bill,

I was saddened to hear of your passing. Although we had not been in touch for many, many years, it was wonderful to see you had succeeded in life. I am thinking of your family and know you are in a wonder place now. As each day goes by since your passing, may your family have wonderful and fond memories and have comfort in their hearts.

We were so sorry to read of Bill's untimely death. We remember having many rolls of film developed in both Starkville locations. The Bulldog Lanes was such a family friendly place. And I know that he tried to keep it a safe place for children. Our grandson from VA came and we celebrated his birthday by going bowling and enjoyed the snacks. God Bless each one of you. May it help to know that there are prayers going up for the whole family and especially for Bill.

Just a wonderful memory I have of Edwina paying me, a four year old, a nickel to watch Bill while he slept, so her and my mother could share a cup of coffee. They lived next door and Sandy and my sister were best friends. I was scared of Sandy, lol, but Bill came along and made me feel so grown up. He was a sweet boy.

Edwina, Sandy, and Bill's loving wife and children, Bill's energy, spirit, and love of life continues to shine in his kids, his work, his memory, and through all who knew and were touched by his marvelous sweetness and goodness, and love of others. Dear Norris Family: It breaks our hearts when death separates us from our loved ones no matter how young or old they happen to be. We are reminded in the Bible that God sees our sorrow and pain and has promised that soon death will be done away with...swallowed up forever.(Isaiah 25:8) He will heal our broken hearts by resurrecting our precious loved ones to life again.(John 5:28,29) I hope in the days ahead as you reflect on the life of William, and the wonderful memories left behind, that you will also find much comfort in God's promises to us for the near future.
