We have very fond memories of our time in the pastorate at Self Creek Baptist Church, and seeing a very young Katie (along with Scootie), along with Nancy coming in to worship with us. Our hearts are saddened by her untimely death. Many positive thoughts and prayers are extended for Dale and the family.

We are all so sad to hear this news. Katie will always hold a very special place in our heart as a family. I cannot count the times I watched Katie and Sarah ride their bikes back and forth to each others house on Williams Road. She saved Sarah's live when they were caught in a rip tide in Florida while we were on vacation. She would not let go of Sarah. She was such a sweet child and lady. The world will not be the same without you, but you are with your mother now, who you loved so much. We love you Katie. Our condolences to Dale and William during this difficult time.

Katie attended her first Indian Pow Wow with our family and friends. I knew it enlightened her to the Native American Ways and Traditions. It was special moment seeing her face when the dancers came into the circle. I will remember that smile.

Many laughs by the campfire later at night and during the day.

We will miss you Katie Ray. I always loved you and knew you were special friend and young lady. You were always a joy to be around and to talk too.

We love you forever and a day Katie Ray!

Katie was such a kind and sweet person. We were really good friends before I moved away to Texas at the end of 6th grade. She was the first person from Mississippi to find me after all these years!!! She will be missed and not forgotten! May you rest in eternal peace Our Sweet Katie Ray!!!
